CORE LANGUAGE CLASSES

Core language classes focus on developing communication skills, oral expression, and listening comprehension. Reading, writing, and grammar are taught, as they are necessary to encourage understanding and language skill building. Up-to-date materials are used to introduce modern-day China, its social and economic life, culture, history and literature. All classes are taught in Chinese. The unique Total Immersion method ensures rapid learning.

Conversation classes focus on oral expression and pronunciation skills to develop the ability to understand the language as spoken at a normal speed. At the lower proficiency levels, simple topics related to daily life (survival skills) are taught. Specialized and complex topics are taught at the higher proficiency levels.
With the aim of increasing students' language fluency and their awareness of the Chinese culture, history and arts, afternoon classes & workshops are held both in the school and outside.

Getting to know the Chinese people is an integral part of this program, providing language and cultural interaction. Such activities include: sports activities, karaoke, outings, fitness club and informal social evenings, all free of charge.

Half day or full day tours or excursions are held on weekends, to allow the participants to discover the major historical and cultural attractions in Zhuhai and its environs.
