EVENING AND WEEKEND ACTIVITIES
Language Exchange Program (Chinese Corner):
Getting to know the local people is an integral part of this program. It provides language and cultural interaction between non-Chinese and Chinese speaking people. The program provides the perfect opportunity to practice the language and encourages cultural and social exchange. Participants can schedule to meet with one another at their convenience. A wide range of activities with Chinese native speakers throughout the program provides further opportunities for the immersion into the Chinese language and way of life.
Guided Tours and excursions:
Half day or full day tours or excursions are held on weekends, to allow the participants to discover the major historical and cultural attractions in the city and its environs.
Activities with Native Chinese Speakers:
Activities with native Chinese speakers are held throughout the program so as to facilitate the use of Chinese, build confidence through practice, and encourage a cultural and social exchange. Such activities include: basketball, bowling, karaoke, football (soccer), table tennis, fitness club and informal social evenings, all free of charge.
